At Orleans Medical Clinic, our mission is to provide personalized, high-quality care on an as-needed or preventative basis.  We have created a practice that we believe in and would choose for our own family members.

We are a full-service family practice of dedicated, experienced staff who believe in working with our patients to maintain and improve their health. We work together to serve your entire family for all of your medical needs in all stages of life.  Dr. Lopez believes in providing comprehensive health care services to our patients in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We also believe in educating our patients as we work with them to achieve the best physical state possible. 

Dr. Jose Lopez graduated from The Ohio State School of Medicine and did  his Family Practice residency in Beaumont, TX.   He has been practicing in southern Indiana since 2001.  He has privileges at IU Health Paoli Hospital and is the medical director at Springs Meadows and Paoli Health and Living, and visits patients at Mitchell Manor as well.  He has served as the Orange County Health Officer since 2002.

​Teresa Slone, NP, wife of Terry Slone II and mother of four busy children, was a graduate of Mitchell High School.  She earned her initial nursing degree at Ivy Tech Bloomington, then her Master’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana, Evansville.  She is a certified nurse practitioner, specialized in family medicine. 

Teresa started her nursing career at IUH Bloomington.  Over the course of 9 years, she worked on a medical-surgical unit, served as the cardiovascular coordinator for the south central region, and managed the psychiatric department.   She was active in nursing government, research, process improvement, and community health.  While she enjoyed these rolls and gained considerable experience, she decided to pursue a career more focused on preventative health and found her fit at the Orleans Medical Clinic.

Teresa is delighted to be working closer to home, making it easier to be more active in her family activities.  She appreciates the opportunity to serve near her own community.  She feels fortunate to be a part of a clinic with a small town feel, where coworkers and patients are like family.
